Losing a Job is like losing a pet

With the rising unemployment and job losses in this chaotic economic recession, a job loss is almost like looking a pet, a friend as it breaks one's daily routine.

There are people that have went to their jobs for years to the point of almost having grey hair, no hair, and other survival stressors of life.

Sometimes, we get so engulf with our work that we forget about the link between economics, work, life and career. Not that we don't want to be unloyal to our employers but perhaps it's just a way of a new beginning of a new hope.

As we cope with the stress of finding work, getting unemployment benefits and struggling to pay our bills one good way to look at life is looking beyond other things that we have. It can either be our family, our friends, our community, our pets and other things that make up our lives.

When a door closes from behind, a new door opens and it can be a door towards a new opportunity. Focus and own self stability to go forward can be a good way of looking at the other side.
